Chances are if you are in a chat room you have an avatar. They aren’t judging you on your looks or clothes or whether you have acne and look like a fucktard or whatever. They talk to you and get to know you on such a totally different level. A most interesting concept in oh so many ways.

The past ten years or so, tattoos have become increasingly popular and I have seen some great skin ink on women. Usually the women are sporting the flowery, birds, hearts or other typical feminine things, but times are a changing and women seem to be getting a bit bolder with their ink desires and their interesting ink designs that they are bringing out with them.

I especially like the tribute tattoos – like their baby’s date of birth. I saw on one of the “ink” cable shows, a woman/mother who had her recently deceased infants footprints tattooed on her upper arm, of course with the baby’s name and other pertinent information. It was done really well and it even made me feel good to look down her arm and see such a job done well and full of pride and overflowing with love.

So checking out tattoo chat rooms can be an interesting way to spend an evening. You just gotta make sure you wear your boots because the shit can get extremely deep in those places.

So the number one best selling candy in the world is: M & Ms  And the story behind how that candy got its name? The two men who made the candy were named Forrest Mars and R.  Bruce Murrie, so they took the initial of their last names and got M & M. This sparked an interest that I just fucking had to respond to so I found out that Forrest Mars was also responsible for the Mars bar which was a sweeter version of the U.S. Milk Way bar. Wikipedia provides us with such interesting but pretty fucking useless information.

It is also a shame that the people in Mexico are willing to work for such a reduced wage and endure such a substandard quality of life that they go to work for these piece of shit companies. I don’t fucking understand why a Mexican company can’t see this business opportunity and build their own plants and make their own companies instead of bringing American companies into Mexico. Even worse is that our greedy asshole American corporations are willing to take advantage of these people who work hard yet remain living in poverty and sometimes horrific working conditions by exploiting the workers in other countries for the sake of making the profits that line their own pockets. World economics is changing and not one bit for the better. It’s turned into a very complicated political mess. I was talking to a friend of mine on Facebook who lives in Wisconsin and says that a big company up there in Freeport Ill is up and moving to fucking China of all places.

One or the things this portion of the job has taught me is that there is an actual art to complaining and getting your way. You can effectively complain to someone without becoming a whiner or a cocksucker or creating a lot of hostility between the parties. That is with the assumption that both parties want to fucking build and maintain a working relationship based on mutual respect and trust. Without that, every contact has the potential to be an unpleasant and less fruitful experience and that just won’t cut the mustard when you are in today’s dog-eat-dog and so fucking competitive business world.

Then comes November, the end of Daylight Savings Time, which this year will be November 4th, which falls on a Sunday of course. I just fucking hate it when the days get shorter and shorter and colder and colder. At the end of November we have to deal with Thanksgiving which always turns into a nightmare trying to figure out who is coming and when and all that family political bull shit. I love eating a nice turkey dinner and enjoy the fuck out of all the left overs I can manage to pack up and take home, but with being surrounded for several days by such a large, disfunctional family just wears my ass out.

And then comes December, ugh………………

The interesting thing for me to hear about one of the Disney movies – Arabian Nights concerns the changing of the words in the first song on the DVD version of this popular movie. The fourth and fifth verses on the original movie:

Where they cut off your ears, if they don’t like your face.

These words/verses were changed to:

Where it’s flat and immense and the heat is intense.

Wow, those are some pretty drastic changes going on there folks. I can only imagine who decided and why to change these words. Political Correctness is written all over this shit. You can find these videos on YouTube.

I have never seen her do a stand up bit as I watched last night. This women is almost 80 years old and still kicking ass on that stage just giving it all she has got, pacing back and forth on that stage like a women 40 years younger. She rocked that place for a full 60 minutes and only took one sip out of a water bottle the whole time. She was fucking great, she had me rolling and I can’t wait to see if I can find any other of her stand up routines. I’m sure there are some on YouTube but I think I’ll search the TV for now.

At my last trip to the grocery store I picked up a bottle of this 100% white distilled vinegar, it wasn’t but a couple of bucks. And last night when I stripped my bed linens I washed them and used the vinegar and I have to say that I was impressed. I was sure that they were going to come out smelling like vinegar (actually they did but the smell goes away in the dryer cycle) and that I would have to smell vinegar all night long or wash them all over again. I was not looking forward to either options. I’m glad it worked out and I am spreading the word, playing it forward as they say. Go ahead and try it, I double dog dare ya!

Pit Bulls and Parolees really shows the fucked up horror stories that go along with pit bulls. Now that the Villalobos Rescue Center has had to up and relocate, taking several of the Parolees and most of the pit bulls all across the country to New Orleans. A place that has an outrageous number of pit bulls as well as prisoners and parolees that seems to be welcoming all that this Rescue Center has to offer so many people and pit bulls as well.

It is only the end of August and I can all ready tell that we are in for one hell of a winter, that suck’s. I hate the fucking cold weather, there is nothing, not one thing that cold weather does in a positive way for me. I really wish that I lived some where that the temperature stayed between 75  and 85 degrees all year round. Is there really a place like that, anywhere on this fucking planet?

The Ren Faire is held on the grounds of a man’s actual home. He built a castle, by himself, and is a self proclaimed Renaissance Fanatic. His castle is open for tours during the Ren Faire, but he actually lives in it year round.The Faire is on his private property and the festival is run by a professional troupe who come here every May and then move on to another state from here in June.

I think that is very cool, but I admit that I would get awfully tired of having to go up and down all those stairs all the time. Each room in the castle has it’s own level and the kitchen is halfway up the main turret. That means a lot of hauling groceries up a lot of stairs every week. No thanks!

I love my little Mazda. It is black with a black interior. It is classic and understated and that is fine with me. If I couldn’t have a black car I think I would want a white car. The white cars are actually easier to keep clean than the black ones around here with all this dust and pollen in the air.

I have seen some awful fucking colors of cars, though. The yellow ones are probably the worst, although orange sucks ass, too. I cannot imagine driving or even being seen in a yellow car. No thanks!

There is a very pretty black cat that has been coming around my house every night. I know the poor thing is hungry and miserable. I just can’t take in any more animals – there is a zoning ordinance that limits each house to just 5 animals. I already have 4 dogs of my own and they would not tolerate a cat anyway. So I put out a little bowl of food for it and hope someone will eventually take her in.
