Shopping for some shit

I am shopping for some shit for me. I always buy for everyone in my family and honestly forget that I need to get stuff for me. I am just that way though. I see something that I know one of my family members are going to like and I just have to get it. Not today though ! I am buying me some shit to wear when I go out. Really, I need a whole new wardrobe, but I will buy it a little at a time. The mall has been calling my name for a while now and today is the day baby.

I saved up money for this shopping trip from the last few months. I am going to Victoria’s Secret as well as Macy’s and a couple of little shops in the mall that are for women only. I might even go to a few of my favorite thrifts stores. They always have new stuff that is cheap and trendy. That in its self will make sure I can buy a lot with the money I have and not just have to get one outfit. This is going to be my clubbing clothes, next month I am buying some work clothes and in May I will get some summer stuff. Then I should be set till winter rolls around again.


Loves me some Whitney Houston

I am very sad over the death of Whitney Houston. I really fucking loved that woman’s music. She was so talented and such a wonderful person until she was dragged down by Bobby Brown. He is such a piece of shit. I wish she had never married him. He cost her not only her career, but eventually her life. She didn’t do drugs until they got married. Whitney was on top of the world, a diva with an amazing future in front of her and I can’t believe that she is gone. I have so many memories that are tied up in her music.

I wish I could tell her just how much her music meant to me and others. The moments in my life that were made to be so much more by the song that was playing at the time. That first dance with my boyfriend at the prom in high school, or the one we played at my friends funeral when she died. I can only sit here and listen and think about the memories and be incredibly sad for the loss the world has at her passing. I hope that Rhianna doesn’t allow Bobby to drag her down too. She is so young and has so much promise.


Idiot fucktard judge

I just read and article online and watched a video about a Muslim man who attacked an athiest who was dressed as a Zombie Mohammad the Prophet in a Halloween Parade. WTF is that shit? Well if you can believe that, you wont believe the next part. While is had been caught on video by someone, the Judge who presided over the case refused to watch the video. The Judge himself is a Muslim and said according to Sharia Law, assaulting someone impersonating  Mohammad is LEGAL. What happened to the United States Constitution and a separation of church and state?

I will tell you where it went. Right out the fucking window when the Muslims began taking over the US and the rest of the world. I am truly concerned about this, because if Shariah Law trumps the constitution, does that mean Catholic Law does as well? Does it mean it is now okay to bomb abortion clinics and planned parenthood centers? This is very distressing to me as a woman. Freedom and freedom of choice is very important to us women. I hate to think of what this world is coming to, but it is definitely not good whatever it is.


Fucking bored

I am so fucking bored. I keep flipping through the channels hoping something good will be there, but there isn’t. Why do I pay for expensive ass cable with hundreds of channels and there is never anything on?  I am so tired of stupid reality shows too. That is all that is playing right now, besides old movies I didn’t like when they first came out let alone have to watch them again. LifeTime Channel is ok, but too many make you cry movies irritate me as well. I am so totally stuck today. The house is clean as can be and this boring shit sucks ass.

I should go to the Zoo or something. Maybe I will pick up my niece and take her to the Zoo. I know she will love that and I can get the hell out of the house. I’m going to call my sister now. Wait, I have to look it up and see what time the shows are and the prices. Shouldn’t be too much though, because our zoo is rather small compared to some. They do have nice attractions though for such a small zoo, as well as a nice collection of animals. Okay, then I am off to the Zoo.


Mardi fucking Gras

I love Mardi Gras. It is the coolest fucking party ever. I go every year with a group of friends and this year will be no different. We always stay in an apartment owned by one of my friends and it is right off Bourbon Street. So that way, we don’t have far to go to party or to stumble home drunk. Usually it’s the guys who get drunk and we girls have to take care of them, but we don’t really mind. We all love the parades and King Cake parties that we attend as well. Over the years we have made a few local friends who have invited us to the native parties as opposed to just the public celebration.

I learned a lot about the history of Mardi Gras and the traditions. It is an amazing celebration that’s been around for a very long time. I hope I never get too old for Mardi Gras, because I always want to be able to enjoy the festival. If you have never been to Mardi Gras, I definitely recommend a trip, but plan a year ahead because the hotels and motels book a year in advance. Have a great time if you make it and I will see you there.
